Why is speed control so important?
By dividing the pump flowrate by 2, pressure loss and energy consumption are reduced by 75%! At the same time, because the filtration speed is halved, filtration performance is increased by a factor of 4! High filtration performance means less chemicals, resulting in healthier water and better air quality at lower costs.

Slow speed (enonomy mode) should be used most of the time whenever the pool is closed and is not being used. During the economy mode, you will get the finest possible filtration with an energy consumption close to 0. At night, a very slow filtration is ideal to prevent any stagnant water in your pool system. Moving water is safe water => less bacterial growth! |

Medium speed (normal mode) should be used during day time for at least a full circulation cycle. Use the medium speed when the pool cover is open, sun is up or temperature is warm, and whenever the pool is being used (swimming mode)! The medium speed offers perfect hydraulics, keeps the pool surface clean and guarantees a good water mixing in the pool but also in the balance tank. |

Fast speed (boost mode) should be used for your weekly backwash. Indeed, when it comes to backwash, fast and short is better than slow and long. Program your backwash time and duration in the AS Control Plus using the boost mode at high speed! |

With the installation of a Besgo 3-way valve, water filtration can be switched automatically according to the air temperature.
When the Eco Mode is activated, suction is done directly from the pool so the water does not overflow. Evaporation and energy losses are this way considerably reduced. At the same time, filtration speed is automatically reduced to the lowest setting.
OPTIMISE YOUR BACKWASH EFFICIENCY AND SAVE MONEY ON YOUR BALANCE TANK
With the installation of a Besgo 3-way valve your backwashes can be done automatically from your pool’s main drain. Why is this a better solution?
Because it is much better to use clean water for your weekly backwash! In a pool system, the most polluted water is located in the balance tank while the cleanest water is located at the bottom of your pool.
